    These are the ‘wiring rules’ that govern how an electrical installation is to be done in Australia and New Zealand.

    The current issue for NZ is 2007 as 2018 hasn’t been brought into law yet. The current issue for Australia is ASNZS:3000:2018.

    It consists of 8 sections consisting of how wiring systems, appliances, and fittings are to be installed including protection systems, earthing, how to handle damp areas, testing requirements and special situations.
