    Responsible for maintaining the power lines and managing electrical distribution. Lines companies are also responsible for managing power outages on their networks.

    This includes installing and maintaining transformers which convert high voltage from power lines into the standard 230 – 400v which is used by consumers.

    Lines companies also manage electrical pillars and replacing blown pole fuses on lines or fuses inside pillars.
