    Load balancing is the practice of moving electrical load to ensure that you aren’t drawing more load than your allocated supply.

    If your supply is 63 amps two phase, then the total load that you are drawing from each phase needs to be under 63 amps (ideally).

    Going over this will eventually blow a pole fuse which requires expensive lines company call outs.

    So it’s the electricians job to ensure that you are staying within your limits.

    Solutions to this include upgrading your supply, moving loads to different phases, using timers to ensure that heavy loads don’t run at the same time, etc, etc.
