Pillar

Pillars are plastic boxes mounted on the ground containing fuses for one or several properties.

These fuses will blow if your load isn’t balanced. Sometimes pillars can be on private property where an electrician can access them. If the pillar is on the roadside, it can only be accessed by the lines company responsible for it. The pillar is where your mains starts (unless your mains comes straight from the transformer)
