RCBO

This is a RCD with short circuit and overload protection in addition to earth leakage protection. It is basically an RCD and MCB in one device.

An RCDBO is typically one-way which means it takes up less space in a switchboard than a traditional RCD which is two-way.

The higher price of a RCBO reflects this.
