Two Phase

Common in rural areas, two phase power tends to have two electrical wavelengths directly opposing each other. Each phase is 230 volts to earth but 460 volts between each phase.

Both two phase and single phase systems are harder to balance than three phase systems due to the nature of their wavelengths.
